OLTL: Did you always hate Todd Manning?

I never saw RH playing Todd as I only started watching OLTL in 2009. I didn't hate Todd until I found out the character was a rapist. Whether he showed remorse or compion(which he doesn't) I still wouldn't like him because that's not something I tolerate in a character. I do hate Todd and TSJ plays him as a sociopath. It wouldn't matter who plays him, I would still hate the character regardless. Todd is just a vile creature and I can't understand why people would like a character like him.
