I always catch him staring at me and my friends?

So there's this Junior dude in our pe cl(we're sopres). One of my friend(Amanda) knows him(his name is ED) but they arent like friends, she just knows him and he knows her . so everyday in PE i always catch him staring at us(Amanda, Krystol, and me) Everytime we talk about something he will just stare, its a serious stare no smile. Even Krystol notices it ! and we always talk about it . i dont think Amanda knows about this yet. so friday we were playing frisbee and decided to go play basketball and he went to go get the last basketball and i told Krystol 'he has the basketball' then he goes 'you guys want the basketball?' and krystol and i say 'yes' . after that we went to a rally he sat on the junior side and we sat on the sopre side(it was me and krystol now cos amanda left to the top of the bleachers) and his body position was like facing us! Krystol kept saying 'is he staring at us or is it just cos hes looking at the two person that had the mic?' it was pretty awkward...whats his deal? like why does he always stare at us ? any ideas? thanks sorry if it was soo long.
