How would you label this kind of relationship? HELP?

Ok so i've been talking to this guy for two years. He's a freshman in college and i'm a jr. in high school. Not two years straight, in between we had alot of big fights. Since May of 2008 we have been together without fighting and everything seems perfectly fine. Last week he told me that he is really falling for me and he is pushing me away because im to young for him. This kind of surprised me at first because he met me when i was 14 and i'm mature for my age otherwise why would he have been talking to me for such a long time. After thinking about it for a while, i realized that for us to be official, everyone will ume that were having which is against the law because we have a four year difference between us (im 16 hes 20). Also his parents are really crazy about that, so i wont be able to meet them. Other than that, we have a very good relationship. We don't talk to other people, or mess around with anyone else, so its mutual monogamous. We hangout like any couple would, and he tells his friends about me. I think that when im 18 we will finally be official because by then i will have a car, and a job so i'll be a little more self sufficient and it will be legal. What do you guys think? and How would you label this kind of relationship?
