I don't know the second two, but Pygmalion is a well-known and much-loved story based on the ancient Greek legend of the artisan who fell in love with a sculpture of his own making. In the Shaw version, an English professor decides to transform a working-cl woman into a high-cl lady, thus proving his ideas on education. It's both funny and provocative, posing to us such questions as whether a person of the high cl is really more worthy because of her manners and speech, or whether one can love another person not of one's own social cl.
